TUPELO, MS (SEPTEMBER 7, 2005) – Hawkeye Industries Inc. is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary, and the privately-held company is focusing on its accomplishments so far in 2005.

First, Hawkeye completed another major expansion, which almost doubled the plant size to more than 55,000 square feet and representing an investment of more than $2 million in plant and computerized fabrication equipment.

Second, Hawkeye successfully completed the final audit for ISO 9001-2000 certification in August. The final audit took only three months to complete.

Finally, the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration recognized Hawkeye as only a few businesses in three states that has fulfilled the requirements of the Safety & Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP).

Hawkeye has also been chosen as one of Mississippi's 40 fastest-growing private companies by the Mississippi Business Journal.
